Creag an Tuirc

This painting is a gift for my mother. When I graduated from university, her gift to me was to fly to Scotland for a week where she, myself, and one of my sisters scrambled around our family's ancestral territory. Being part of Clan MacLaren, a big deal is going to see Creag an Tuirc in Balquhidder, as it was the ancient rallying point for the clan.

This is the view from the top, as well as the Clan Crest and the traditional Tartan pattern. The latter being a bit wonky as I totally freehanded it, and I've never been terribly good at straight lines.
